Introduction
Grant Murray is a lawyer and the retired Vice President and General Counsel of a well-known Canadian subsidiary of a major international corporation. During his career, he had responsibility for a variety of corporate functions, including public affairs and government relations. In addition, he held senior roles in a number of industry and business associations and also served on a number of Government advisory committees.
He has always been especially curious about the functions of government and the political world in general. During his retirement years, he has maintained this curiosity and has written numerous articles on a variety of public affairs issues and has participated in many round table discussions.
He is well-qualified to bring a Canadian perspective to the many issues that are flooding the world stage at the present time.
Although he has strongly held views on a number of important public issues, he always welcomes and enjoys hearing the views of others interested in the same issues.
